A great opportunity for a Store Manager to work for a Ladieswear fashion retailer, who have stores across the UK high street, selling items such as clothing, accessories and footwear.Duties included:
  • Ensure that all store KPI's are delivered in line with targets and budgets.
  • Influence commercial decisions.
  • Ensure that the store operates in accordance with Company policies and procedures in order to achieve the required level of operating standards and customer service.
  • Ensure that Managers and sales staff are recruited, trained and developed to increase their capability in relation to both current duties and progression to more senior roles.
  • Ensure that all areas of the store are safely and securely maintained in accordance with Company policies and procedures and that all statutory requirements are adhered to.
  • Ensure that effective communication is maintained in store with management & staff, Head Office Departments and external bodies in order to contribute to business efficiency.
  • Lead the management team to ensure the store team are enthused motivated and achieve high performance.
  • Maintain staff levels/recruitment to the agreed weekly budget.
  • Maintain high standards of appearance of staff.
  • Ensure all members of staff are fully aware of their job responsibilities within the guidelines of their job description.
  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate personnel details in store and sent to Head Office.
  • Actively promotes the benefits of excellence in teamwork.
  • Liaise with Division Management on all matters, including those regarding branch staff control as required.
  • Be responsible for personal safety at work by observing company regulations
Skills required:
  • Minimum of 1 years experience at the same level within similar role
  • To have a proven ability to prioritise, delegate and motivate staff.
  • Always display a 'can do' attitude towards work and colleagues.
  • Confidentiality is essential.
  • Able to communicate clearly with a variety of people at all levels.
  • Knowledgeable of relevant laws.
