- Promote exceptional safety standards and quality delivery across direct and subcontracted teams.
- Ensure the Business Management System (BMS) is implemented throughout project delivery, from tender handover to completion.
- Build and maintain positive client, joint venture, and supplier relationships.
- Plan and manage projects, reviewing and approving the Project Execution Plan (PEP), and monitoring progress against it.
- Ensure construction plans and method statements are prepared, approved, and implemented before works commence.
- Oversee contract completion, ensuring all project records are accurate and available.
- Manage project risks, opportunities, costs, and forecasts in a proactive and timely manner.
- Ensure sufficient resources and trained personnel are available and aligned to their responsibilities.
- Lead on commercial aspects, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective cost control.
- Deliver projects in line with governance processes and present at key reviews.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge across disciplines relevant to water and wastewater design and build projects.
- Represent the business professionally in all interactions with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Champion continuous improvement, professional development, and industry best practice.
- Proven Project Management experience delivering multi-disciplinary design and construction projects (ideally in the water industry).
- Degree or equivalent in Construction, Commercial, or Engineering discipline.
- Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent.
- Strong communicator, confident in working with clients, stakeholders, and end users.
- Delivery-focused with the ability to motivate and manage multi-disciplinary teams to meet time, cost, and quality targets.
- Solid experience in project delivery, planning, and commercial management.
- Knowledge of Construction Contracts (NEC and/or IChemE).
- Risk & Opportunity Management experience.
- Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.
- Civil engineering background.
- Experience delivering water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Chartered status with a recognised engineering, commercial, or construction institution.
- NEC Project Manager Accreditation.
