Job Title: Learning Support AssistantLocation: GatesheadStart Date: September 2025Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £90- £110 a day (experience dependent)Are you passionate about supporting students in their learning journey? Do you want to make a real difference in the world? Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to support in schools across Gateshead. Here, you will be supporting pupils with additional needs in the classroom.The Role:
  • Providing small group, and 1:1 support to SEND students
  • Assisting the class teacher with any student learning support
  • Helping pupils achieve socially and academically
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Previous teaching experience working with SEN children (desired but not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Patience and compassion towards students with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
