Job Description:Quality EngineerChichester Onsite 5 days a weekPermanent, full-timeCompetitive salary plus benefitsThe successful candidate will undertake all duties associated with that of Quality Engineer operating out of the Company’s head office in Chichester, assisting with all departments in supplying services for production and monitoring of quality for manufactured products.More about the role:
  • Production & Project documentation control that fulfils the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015 7.5 (Production /Access & Traceability / Currency / Distribution / Fulfilling customer expectation for equipment data and certification for all products).
  • Assure products on receipt for equipment suitability and classification, liaising closely with the design and fabrication teams.
  • Quality assurance / Production of pipework fabrication from drawings using Solid-works 3D (Welder Code / WPQR / NDT / Technical drawing completion . fabrication pack assurance).
  • Production programming communicating closely with design and fabrication teams.
  • Assure / Reviews designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
  • Co-ordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, resolving engineering design and test problems.
  • Product factory assessment testing (F.A.T) programming – conducting – resolution of customer concerns or findings – producing precise and accurate records.
  • Assisting with commissioning support activities of manufactured products.
  • Production of product quality packs, for onward quality assurance before dispatch to customer.
  • Health and safety.
