Senior Tendering & Estimating Engineer – £72,029 to £83,962 (depending on experience) + Benefits – Wakefield or StocktonThe RoleAre you experienced in HV and EHV power distribution projects?   • Prepare accurate and competitive bids for HV and EHV power distribution projects
  • Engage in pre- and post-tender meetings with clients and stakeholders
  • Review plans and propose value-engineered alternatives
  • Support the commercial team in analysing contract terms
  • Ensure seamless handover of projects to operational teams
  • Monitor and improve tendering processes to enhance win rates
  • Grow the supply chain to support delivery of complex solutions
  • Plan ahead to meet all tender deadlines

The PersonYou will need:
  • HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in HV/EHV power distribution and utility sectors
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contract law
  • Previous team management experience
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence
Desirable:
  • Chartered Engineer status
  • Experience in civil engineering
