This role involves strategic partnership with the EMEA CFO, providing pivotal financial insights, analysis, and guidance to enhance business performance. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior management, business leaders, and regional finance teams, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial information to support informed decision-making.The EMEA Finance Director will use their financial expertise to support effective decision-making, foster business growth, and ensure financial sustainability within Colliers EMEA.Responsibilities: * Financial Analysis and Modelling:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling to support strategic initiatives, budgeting, and planning processes.
  • Develop financial models using key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and enhance business performance and profitability.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Business Partnering and Advisory:
  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to EMEA business leaders, delivering insights and recommendations to drive financial performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align financial strategies with business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to integrate financial goals with company-wide strategies.
  • Financial Reporting and Presentations:
  • Prepare and present accurate, insightful financial reports, including monthly/quarterly performance analyses, variance analyses, and forecasts.
  • Utilize Power BI and PowerPoint to create effective, visually compelling financial presentations for various stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Strategic Planning and Budgeting:
  • Provide strategic financial insights during planning and budgeting phases.
  • Work with regional finance teams to consolidate and analyse financial data to ensure the accuracy and completeness of budgets and forecasts.
  • Offer strategic guidance during financial reviews to optimize financial performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, modelling, and business partnering.
  • Proficient in financial modelling techniques and tools, with expertise in Power BI and PowerPoint.
  • Thorough understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to effectively articulate financial concepts to varied audiences.
  • High business acumen, understanding the broader business context and its impact on financial performance.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
  • Commitment to accuracy and diligence in financial analysis and reporting.
