- Manage design projects to meet industry standards
- Oversee project lead times, ensuring timely delivery.
- Manage and mentor the Design team, including conducting annual reviews.
- Act as a key liaison with stakeholders and external customers.
- Carry out project reviews and lead design meetings.
- Organise and participate in technical reviews with customers.
- Provide guidance on design for tooling, manufacturing, and production efficiency.
- Design components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Support tooling development and attend tool trials when required.
- Collaborate with sales, tooling, and production departments to deliver customer projects.
- Strong background in design and project management.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD software).
- Experience designing with tooling, manufacturing, and production in mind.
- Ability to manage and mentor design teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant design standards
