Maintenance ManagerWe are recruiting a Maintenance Manager for the team based at our manufacturing site in Runcorn, Cheshire. As we continue to grow, this is an opportunity that will contribute to our continued success and will enable us to deliver our forecasted growth and extend our service to our customers.As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee a team of approximately 15 with up to 4 direct reports. You will be responsible for maintenance activities across several production business units. You will also oversee the development and implementation of our engineering initiatives to improve all elements of OEE (overall equipment effectiveness), QCDSE (quality, cost, delivery, safety and engagement), and our people development.What you will be doing as Maintenance Manager:
  • Manage the health and safety of the maintenance team for our factories and ensure equipment is maintained to legislative standards.
  • Providing technical leadership to support OEE improvements.
  • Driving an improvement culture of “right first time”, failure avoidance or re-occurrence through motivation and high standards of technical application
  • Ensuring equipment related improvement projects are identified, prioritised and executed to improve reliability and capability across the operation.
What we are looking for:
  • A qualified engineer with a minimum of HNC in mechanical or electrical engineering and a recognised safety management qualification
  • Experienced in recognised maintenance and improvement techniques.
  • An experienced people manager within a maintenance environment
  • Experience and knowledge of cutting edge and lean manufacturing techniques.
  • A proven track record of influencing positive and encouraging team behaviour.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making and change management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the changing demands of the business.
