Company: Guy CarpenterDescription:An opportunity has arisen for a Broker Support Specialist working for Guy Carpenter's London team. We are looking for someone that wants to develop and expand their broking support skills. Within this role, you will have the chance to work in a niche area of the market supporting our international clients and be an integral part of our team.What can you expect?You will be responsible for coordinating all placement support activities and delivering proactive, valued support within our client teams. To help ease the transition when you return to work you will be able to work 8 weeks at 80% of your normal work pattern and receive 100% of your normal salary.We will rely on you to:Assist with reviews of client renewal information.The drafting of MRC slips and endorsements.Initiate the contract drafting process, updates, and production of EOC’s.Assist brokers and prepare submissions, where required.Track placement status of assigned accounts and update information, as necessary.Maintain core electronic placement files to ensure we evidence all best practice procedures and compliance requirements.Respond to client requests for information (reinsurer, financial reports, industry issues, etc.)On boarding of new clients and markets.Access front-end broking systems.Build a strong relationship with our Service Team and an understanding of accounting, claims and proportional treaty administration.Actively participate in team, client, and reinsurer meetings.What you need to have:Comparable experience working in a broker support role with Treaty experience is essential.Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.A keen attention to detail and accuracy.A high level of communication skills, essential for establishing good working relationships.What makes you stand out:Experience of the London Reinsurance Market along with MRC contracts is essential.Knowledge of the global processing system.Knowledge of sanction requirements.About Guy CarpenterGuy Carpenter & Company, LLC is a leading global risk and reinsurance specialist with more than 3,100 professionals in over 60 offices around the world.
