Are you a practical, organised and motivated individual who enjoys supporting young people in their learning? Academics Bristol is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support the Food and Nutrition department at a secondary school in Bristol (BS7).Location: Bristol - BS7
Contract Type: Part Time (2 days per week) Temporary - Term Time Only
Start Date: October 2025
Salary: £95 - £115 per day, depending on experienceAs a Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Work alongside teachers and other technicians to prepare and maintain resources for Food and Nutrition lessons.
  • Ensure practical lessons are safe, engaging and well-supported.
  • Help manage stock, equipment and materials with precision and care.
  • Support students and staff in creating hands-on, inspiring learning experiences.
We are looking for someone who is:
  • Experienced in a technical role (ideally in science labs or food technology), either professionally or personally.
  • Highly organised, with good attention to detail.
  • Confident in taking initiative and solving practical problems.
  • A great team player, with strong communication skills.
  • Caring, with a genuine commitment to supporting the success and wellbeing of young people.
