- Supports the overall delivery of the TradePoint proposition ‘strategy’ that identifies opportunities, risks whilst increasing sales and cash margin.
- Use TradePoint proposition knowledge and experience to deliver incremental sales and profit, supporting the existing customer base and developing new customer opportunities with meetings as required.
- Uses customer insights and information for customer needs, future trends to identify sales and profit opportunities around future needs.
- Able to engage on mass and drive collective growth by identifying the best opportunities that impacts all accounts
- Able to always display and demonstrate a confident style, taking appropriate action to influence ‘Business to Business’ customers that generate sales and profit.
- Continually strives to improve upon and build effective relationships with existing and new customers to improve overall customer loyalty, thus impacting sales and cash profit.
- Monitoring and analysing sales MI reporting for ‘Business to Business’ within the cluster to maximise opportunity and minimise risk on profit.
- Monitors competitor activity and uses local knowledge to identify new business opportunities for feedback into the business, to deliver incremental growth.
- Resolves any procedural or customer issues that may arise and seeks timely ways to make improvements to the customer loyalty and longer-term engagement.
- Comply with all health and safety, legislation and audit requirements
- Experience of B2B account management / sales experience
- Field based and will involve extremely high levels of self-motivation and time management.
- Strong account management and problem-solving skills with clear logical thinking
- Demonstrates a variety of customer management techniques to engage the customer base on the TradePoint proposition.
- Customer focused, with effective communication and engagement skill to build great relationships.
- Strong commercial and negotiation experience, supported with strong financial acumen.
- Must be IT literate
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Understanding of sales processes and techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel for client meetings (nationally mobile, frequent overnight stays)
- Knowledge of industry trends and competition
- Must hold full UK driving licence
