I am seeking a Head Chef to manage a brand new kitchen to be part of amazing new project in Essex, this head chef requires strong management skills as you will be involved in getting this brand new well equipped kitchen all set up ready for the grand opening. I need a well organised to set up the back of house making sure all processes and procedures are in place. You will have the opportunity to build your own team to deliver some really cool on trend food, you will be involved in using new app technology for staff and guests to be able to order the food quickly. Ideally I am looking for a chef who has a strong casual dining back ground and that can deliver great food and service.You may work in a busy casual high street restaurant or a busy fresh food pub looking for something new with better work life balance, not working every weekend and evenings are not late. This role is ideal for someone that is fed up with commuting into London and would like something closer to home with the opportunity to be part of a new opening.This Head Chef / Kitchen manager will need to be able to drive the food offer understanding the workings of a kitchen and how to build a great team, this site will provide food to two different customers. Staff of site will be provided breakfast and lunch daily as well as visitor hot grab and go offer including street for and dishes that can be eaten hand held on the go.
