This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact, whether you're seeking a long-term position or flexible supply work.Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Geography lessons across key stages.
- Encourage students to develop a curiosity for the world around them, both human and physical.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.
- Collaborate with the Humanities department to develop enriching schemes of work.
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Specialism in Geography or related discipline.
- Recent experience teaching Geography in UK schools is desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and a creative, adaptable teaching approach.
- An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
- A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
