A warm and welcoming family based in Clapham Junction is seeking a proactive and experienced daily nanny housekeeper to assist with the care of their two school-aged children. The role involves all aspects of childcare, preparing nutritious meals for the children, and maintaining a clean and organised home, including occasional deep cleaning when required. A valid first aid qualification and fluency in English are essential. A French speaker would be a bonus.Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 7am-9am and then from 2pm-7pm.Duties include:
  • Assisting with bath time routines and dressing the children
  • Feeding the children and cleaning up after each meal
  • Changing nappies and supporting potty/toilet training for younger children
  • Preparing and engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, including educational play and outdoor outings
  • Taking the children to playdates and ensuring they are always safe, stimulated, and happy
  • Helping older children with their homework and academic tasks
  • Teaching essential life skills such as personal hygiene and good manners
  • Maintaining a clean and organised child-friendly environment
  • Cooking nutritious meals for the family and children
  • Taking care of general household cleaning, including ensuring the toilet and bathroom are kept tidy
  • Doing the grocery shopping and running errands as needed
  • Organising cupboards, changing bed linen, and maintaining an orderly home
