I'm working with a highly respected, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy based in Birmingham, known for delivering top-tier project management services across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and public realm. Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of work, they're now looking to bring an experienced Senior Project Manager on board.The Role:
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll take the lead on delivering complex and high-value projects from inception through to completion. You'll be working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring that programmes, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. This is a client-facing role with real autonomy, ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility and takes pride in delivering excellence.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end delivery of construction projects across multiple sectorsDevelop and manage project programmes, budgets, and risk registersAct as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholdersOversee procurement processes and contract administration (typically JCT or NEC)Chair and coordinate design team and project meetingsMonitor progress, quality, and compliance throughout the project lifecycleMentor and support junior project management staffContribute to business development and repeat work opportunitiesWhat I'm Looking For:Degree qualified in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related disciplineChartered status (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB) or working towards itMinimum 5 years' experience in a consultancy environmentStrong technical knowledge of construction delivery and contractsProven track record managing high-value projects independentlyExcellent communication and leadership skillsConfident dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholdersA proactive and organised approach with a genuine passion for project deliveryWhat's on Offer:£55,000 - £75,000 basic salary (depending on experience)Discretionary annual bonus25 days holiday + bank holidaysCompany pension and private healthcareHybrid/flexible workingTailored career progression and CPD supportInterested?
