Indoor Gardening Technician/DriverThe RoleOur client based in Burgess Hill are looking for an indoor gardener technician - someone who takes pride in their work and thrives on getting things done properly the first time. As our client specializes in plant displays for offices/reception areas, a background in horticulture would be perfect.Monday to FridayFor the right person, there’s a clear path to grow into a broader operations and team leadership role over time, helping shape how we deliver excellence going forward.Whether you’re already experienced in installations and maintenance or you’re ready to step up from a similar background, we’re looking for someone who’s proactive, detail-focused, and wants to take real ownership of their work.Key ResponsibilitiesDriver/Installation/MaintenanceYou will be driving to commercial clients premises across Sussex, Surrey and London.Carry out high-quality installation and ongoing maintenance across a range of client sites
Represent our brand with professionalism and pride — you'll often be the face of the business on-site
Ensure work is completed to high standards every timeHands-On Problem SolvingWork practically and efficiently
Apply a "right first time" attitude to all tasks
Take ownership of issues and deliver solutionsSite Travel & Client InteractionTravel to various client sites (company van will be provided)
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients on-site to build strong working relationships

Involvement in purchasing and supplier management
Helping shape processes and systems to support quality and efficiency
Taking a lead in health & safety compliance and risk assessment
Supporting planning and logistics for installations and productionWe’ll provide mentoring and support — you’ll bring the initiative and reliability.About YouStrong practical/DIY skills.
Gardening/horticulture experience
Van driving experience
Excellent attention to detail and high personal standards
Reliable, proactive and self-motivated — you see what needs doing and get it done
Willingness to accept feedback, learn, grow and take on new challenges
Previous experience in a similar hands-on role is beneficial
Full UK driving licence is essential
