The Growth Company’s (GC) Education and Skills team have a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Manager.This role is responsible for the development and delivery of marketing plans, as well as the evaluation of their effectiveness. Reporting to the Marketing Business Partner for Education and Skills, the Marketing Manager will work closely with operational leads and the Senior Management Team to ensure marketing activity supports the organisation’s strategic priorities.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement B2B and B2C multi-channel marketing and campaign plans to deliver the strategic priorities set out in the business plan.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders (internal and external), and contract providers to agree marketing strategies and deliver a range of financial products.
  • Manage and evaluate multi-channel marketing plans to position GC Education and Skills as a leading provider of skills training across its geographies.
  • Support on the digital marketing strategy to maximise digital opportunities, ensuring potential clients receive a first-class experience.
  • Support the Business Development team in extending outreach through co-ordinated campaigns.
  • Refine monitoring systems to track and measure effective marketing, manage budgets, and continuously improve the marketing mix to optimise campaigns and resource use.
  • Work with the Communications Team and wider GC Education and Skills teams to plan and manage events and communications campaigns across product streams, ensuring attendance is maximised, materials are accurate, and key messages are effectively amplified.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and market intelligence, including industry trends, best practice, competitor analysis, and marketing frameworks.
Essential Skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to multi-task, support others, and work effectively across a wider marketing team.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering clear briefings to external agencies and suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, and CMS tools to support effective digital content management.
  • Proven project management skills with a logical eye for detail and the ability to solve problems creatively.
Experience
  • Previous marketing experience or a relevant degree/qualification in business/marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing and delivering both B2B and B2C marketing campaigns.
  • Budget management experience with the ability to optimise resources effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of market trends and competitor analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Experience in collating, interpreting, and presenting marketing and communications reports to stakeholders.
