We are testing innovative, evidence-based solutions by working in close partnership with Sport England. The Get Doncaster Moving Team currently lead on a range of themed work areas, such as (but not limited to) Active Communities, Parks and Open Spaces, Active Travel, Children and Young People and Community Sport. Our iterative and flexible approach allows us to respond quickly to new and emerging opportunities, meaning that the scope of our work adapts to what is required.The Doncaster Future Parks Program is looking to expand the team as part of the exciting work taking place here. Doncaster Future Parks is delivering and leading innovation in green space and health related developments, focusing the development of active environments and evidence led approaches. Supporting the Future Parks Manager, you will be involved in all phases of the delivery, focusing on the delivery of park capital schemes: community engagement; liaising with multiple stakeholders and delivery partners; infrastructure development and contract oversight.We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for improving public health and wellbeing to join our Get Doncaster Moving team. The ideal candidate will be ambitious with a focus on delivery.
