- oBSc or Diploma in Physiotherapy
- oHCPC registration
- oAccess to a vehicle for work purposes to meet the requirements of the role
- oCompleted or willing to work towards an MSc if available or relevant post graduate courses at masters level.
- oFormal leadership training
- oDemonstrates competent IT and system skills.
- oDemonstrates analytical skills and judgement when dealing with the therapy management of complex clients.
- oAudit and Research experience
- oTo display effective communication skills, communicating complex, sensitive and contentious information to patients, carers, relatives and colleagues.
- oMotivation and persuasion skills
- oDemonstrates extensive knowledge and experience within specialist area.
- oTheoretical knowledge and applied clinical practice in specialist area.
- oEvidence of taking a lead role in MDT working.
- oGood understanding of the structure, policies, priorities, and format of the NHS
- oKnowledge of relevant national guidelines and standards.
- oProject Management experience
- oExperience in specialism at band 6 level including work as a Senior Physiotherapist in a variety of specialties including trauma and orthopaedics
- oExperience of working within a community therapy service
- oService Development experience
- oDemonstrates experience of supervision and teaching more junior staff, students, and other members of the MDT.
- oTeam leadership experience
- oTo be able to travel independently and use of own transport
- oAbility to work across localities
- oAct appropriately in distressing or emotional circumstances
- oAbility to work under their own initiative.
