We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join our team in Wolverhampton. This is a hands-on role with the potential to grow into a Shopfloor Manager position for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be involved in the fabrication and welding of structural steel components, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and welding of structural steel to specification
- Reading and interpreting detailed fabrication drawings
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Supporting production targets and deadlines
- Potential to oversee shopfloor operations and support junior staff
- Proven experience in fabrication and welding of structural steel
- Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings (essential)
- Good communication skills and punctuality
- Experience with UKCA paperwork (advantageous)
- Driving licence (preferred but not essential)
- Previous shopfloor management experience (beneficial but not required)
