As part of the Performance and Planning team, you will be responsible for owning and delivering the Workforce Optimisation capability set. This includes gathering requirements for creating and maintaining capacity planning and optimisation, performance analysis, and interactive data visualisations. The role also involves leading a team of 3 based in UK and serving as the team's representative in Europe. - Own the full lifecycle of the Active Ops Workforce Optimisation (WFO) tool across ISS, ensuring it is embedded as a core strategic capability for workforce and capacity planning.
- Serve as the senior authority and decision-maker for workforce optimisation, influencing cross-functional priorities and aligning planning efforts with ISS’s strategic objectives.
- Lead the headcount and budget planning processes with a sharp focus on cost control, proactively identifying and executing savings opportunities to drive financial efficiency.
- Change Leadership & Adoption
- Design and lead the rollout of the WFO tool using robust change management strategies to ensure full adoption, minimise resistance, and embed sustainable behavioural change across teams.
- Expand and evolve the WFO tool’s capabilities to support enterprise-wide transformation, including new business area deployments, process redesign, and operating model innovation.
- Champion continuous improvement, using the tool’s insights to drive strategic enhancements and operational excellence.
- Lead the Benefit Realisation process, ensuring all outcomes are tracked, quantified, and reported throughout the tool’s lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain performance metrics to assess impact against ISS capacity plans and improvement forecasts.
- Provide strategic support during operating model and organisational design changes, embedding workforce optimisation as a critical enabler of transformation.
- Drive cultural and organisational change through data-led leadership, coaching senior stakeholders, and unlocking team potential.
- Leverage workforce analytics and people insights to inform strategic decisions and enable transformation at scale.
- Ensure data integrity and relevance in all planning and optimisation efforts.
- Maintain and enforce the Benefit Realisation Framework, ensuring consistent and disciplined use of the WFO tool across all change delivery teams.
- Govern capacity planning tools to ensure alignment with strategic forecasts and business unit impact assessments.
- Lead high-impact communications on workforce initiatives, ensuring clarity, alignment, and engagement across ISS.
- Build and maintain a strategic delivery roadmap for the team, aligning planning and performance capabilities with ISS’s long-term vision.
- Proven project management experience within multiple business units, with a focus on change management.
- Essential experience in long-term or short-term business planning.
- Required expertise in forecasting, data modelling and PMO experience.
- Experience in developing and managing large data models, working with Data Lake integration.
- Experience in setting and measuring key performance indicators and driving results through them.
- Ability to produce regular management information for a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to drive cultural change in resistant areas.
- Experience in creating and maintaining forecast models based on a range of commercial assumptions.
- High level of competence with analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience in employing Lean Six Sigma tools and providing advice in the Measurement and Analysis of projects to ensure maximum benefit realisation and data capture.
- Proven ability to identify efficiencies across multiple business models.
