Undertaking the recovery practitioner role, ensuring safe environment and practice is maintained. Working with, and supporting other members of the multi-disciplinary team. Preparation and monitoring of the environment of care, and equipment.   • Take charge of the clinical needs of a group of defined patients on the ward /department prioritising workload according to changing clinical need over a 24 period.
  • Delegate tasks and activities to a range of team members in relation to patient care (for example when taking charge or as link nurse)
  • Ensure nursing documentation is maintained, accurate and timely in line with the Trust standard.
  • To demonstrate awareness and compliance with Trust policies, procedures, guidelines and standards. To work towards promoting this to others.
  • Promote and maintain a safe environment for patients.
  • Administer medicines in accordance with Trust policy.

  • Evidence of ongoing practice development
  • Mentorship Qualification or relevant equivalent qualification (essential requirement for post, expectation this will be completed within an 18 month period).
Desirable
  • Recognised post graduate theatre/anaesthetic qualification
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Post Registration qualification in specialty
  • Diploma/degree in nursing/or health related topic

  • It is an essential requirement of the role that the post holder has a valid driving licence and is either a car owner and able to use the car for work purposes, or has a Trust personal lease vehicle which may be used for the role. However, the Trust would consider making reasonable adjustments to the role, if necessary, to enable a disabled person to undertake the role
