Are you passionate about supporting people facing homelessness or social exclusion? Do you want to help individuals rebuild their lives through practical and pastoral support?We are looking for a Progression Coach to join our Construction Skills team.In this vital role, you’ll work closely with clients at our Construction training hubs, helping them create, implement, and sustain personalised move on plans after training. You’ll support clients to access external training, volunteering, wellbeing activities, work placements, and accredited courses, guiding every client to move forward confidently once the construction programme is complete.In this role you will;Provide high-quality, individualised coaching, helping clients set and achieve personal learning and training goals.Offer ongoing encouragement and motivation, supporting clients every step of the way.Build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external partners to: Stay up to date with available learning, training, and wellbeing opportunities.Work with all clients on Construction projects to ensure a continued plan of personal growth & development.About youTo succeed in this role you will possess;Experience of providing personalised advice, coaching and support to individuals facing homelessness or other forms of social exclusionAn understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people – you may have had personal experience of homelessness yourself.The ability to employ patience, empathy and optimism to support individuals to achieve challenging goalsKnowledge of the learning, training and employment issues for our client groupsHowever, above all we are looking for inspirational, committed individuals who have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives.St Mungo's are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
