As part of the Connected Carers Team, you'll play a key role in supporting children to stay within their extended families or with people close to them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Reg 24 viability and Full Connected Carers assessments
- Support, supervise, and review Connected Carers as they transition into their new role
- Manage a caseload across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings
- Conduct Section 47 enquiries, parenting, and risk assessments
- Prepare court reports and work within the PLO framework
- Lead multi-agency planning and reviews to ensure child safety and wellbeing
We're looking for someone who is:
- A Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
- Experienced (2+ years) in Fostering, Child Protection, CIN, or related areas
- Skilled in assessments, court work, and multi-agency collaboration
- Resilient, compassionate, and dedicated to improving outcomes for children
