- Maximising revenue growth through new business development sales
- Develop effective strategies for winning new clients to generate new income for EF Leasing and the Group.
- Develop an appropriate calling plan to achieve goals and objectives efficiently and effectively
- Work in partnership with colleagues across the HSBC network to deliver exceptional standards and quality of service
- Provide leadership, support and coaching to junior and support staff as appropriate.
- Demonstrate effective influencing skills with the Relationship Management (RM) population/wider Bank on a relationship level to utilise HSBC EF products or the most suitable method for structuring a transaction in any given set of circumstances.
- Maintain and observe all HSBC control standards and implement and observe the Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.
- Ensure all completed sales and prospecting activity documentation is appropriately completed, approved, and stored to provide performance tracking, targeted future sales efforts and compliance with sales and transactional suitability guidelines and requirements.
- Relevant product knowledge along with Equipment Finance knowledge would be advantageous.
- Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Business development is essential.
- Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. Commercial banking is essential
- Experience of working towards sales targets and a willingness to be assessed against sales achievements is essential.
- Proven experience of leading the delivery of an excellent customer service and proactively look for innovative ways to improve the service delivered to customers. Together with experience in managing relationships with complex and significant customers.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated to a range of audiences with accuracy.
- Experience of effectively using your knowledge of credit products, processes, and risks to make fair and informed lending decisions that meet customers' needs
