- Define and drive the growth strategy for Tier 1 Personal Lines insurance accounts, building strong relationships with CXOs, Heads of Transformation, Operations Directors and other key stakeholders.
- Develop detailed account plans that map EXL's capabilities to client strategy and critical business challenges, identifying opportunities for new services, competitive displacement, and process improvements.
- Act as the primary liaison for strategic accounts, orchestrating both internal teams and external partners to deliver best-in-class outsourcing and transformation solutions.
- Maintain oversight of revenue, gross margin and P&L performance, ensuring financial health while exceeding client expectations.
- Manage contracts and governance processes, ensuring smooth operations across staffing, agreements and delivery.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to shape client strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate across EXL's portfolio-Data Management, Digital Engineering, Analytics & AI, Revenue Integrity, F&A and Domain Operations-to deliver innovative, integrated solutions with measurable impact.
- 15+ years of experience leading and expanding client engagements, with a proven track record in account management, sales, or business development within the Insurance sector.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working within or with Insurance companies, with senior-level account management exposure to Tier 1 insurers and key stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of Policy & Claims Operations, Underwriting, Analytics, and Digital Operations/BPS, including best-in-class processes and emerging trends.
- Strong knowledge of the evolving insurance landscape, including offshore delivery models and digital transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business growth while maintaining a client-centric approach, aligning client needs with EXL's offerings in AI, analytics, cloud, automation, and digital operations.
- Skilled at leading cross-functional teams, influencing across matrixed organisations, and collaborating with transformation leaders to deliver strategic outcomes.
- Experienced in talent development, setting high delivery standards, and providing thought leadership and strategic guidance to clients.
- Strong curiosity and working knowledge of data, AI, and digital transformation, with practical understanding of their enterprise applications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with executive presence and advanced presentation ability.
- Highly professional approach with strong people management skills and the ability to build trusted client and colleague relationships.
- Calm, sound judgement when managing unexpected or delicate situations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
