We're looking for an experienced and passionate Qualified Social Worker (minimum 3 years PQE and completion of ASYE) to take on a rewarding role within our Families and Early Help Service. This non-statutory, case-holding role is capped at 12 families (approximately 25 children), allowing you to focus on quality over quantity.Why Join the Children's Services?

- Undertake early-stage assessments with children and families
- Use your knowledge and experience to identify needs and deliver effective interventions
- Build strong, meaningful relationships with families to support positive outcomes
- Apply your court experience and safeguarding expertise to complex situations
- Deliver person-centred, strengths-based support
- Ensure sustainable results and empower families to thrive
We're seeking a dedicated professional who is:
- Registered with Social Work England
- Degree or equivalent in Social work
- Experienced in safeguarding and court work
- Skilled in multi-agency and multi-disciplinary working
- Excellent at mediation, negotiation, and communication
- Knowledgeable in current legislation and best practice
- Flexible, creative, and committed to continuous improvement
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience
- Strong working knowledge of fostering legislation and care planning
- Ability to manage a caseload, assess risk, and develop tailored support plans
- A dedicated consultant with access to social work roles across the UK
