Join a growing food manufacturer as a Food Production Operative on the afters shift!We're looking for experienced Food Production Operatives to join the friendly, expanding team of a well-established company in Monk Bretton, Barnsley. This role offers immediate starts, ongoing full-time hours, and a chance to secure a permanent position in the business.You'll be based in a chilled production environment, helping to prepare and mix sandwich fillings, monitor quality, and keep the workspace clean and safe. This is a physical role suited to someone with a strong work ethic and good attention to detail.Benefits of this Food Production Operative role:

Key duties as a Food Production Operative:
  • Working in a chilled environment (8°C+)
  • Weighing, digging, and mixing ingredients by hand (gloves provided)
  • Preparing up to 200+ sandwich fillings
  • Feeding machines and cleaning down equipment and floors
  • De-boxing ingredients and general manual handling
  • Visual inspection of raw and finished products
  • Maintaining high health, safety, and hygiene standards
What we're looking for:
  • Experience in a food production environment
  • Physically fit with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping
  • Great attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
