Daily Rate: £90–£105/day | Contract: Full-time, term-time | Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking a SEN Support Assistant with multilingual skills to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who are also learning English as an Additional Language (EAL).Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small-group support for SEN pupils with EAL needsSupport pupils in accessing the curriculum, using dual-language, visual, or assistive strategiesAssist teachers in differentiating lessons to ensure all pupils can participatePromote social, emotional, and communication developmentCollaborate with SEN staff, teachers, and parents to implement individual learning plansRequirements:Experience working with pupils with SEN or EAL in school, care, or support settingsBilingual / multilingual abilities (any language) preferredFull DBS on Update Service (or willingness to apply)Full-time availability during school hoursEmpathy, patience, and excellent communication skillsDesirable:Teaching Assistant experience or relevant education backgroundPsychology, education, or language-related degreeWhat we offer:Competitive daily rate (£90–£105/day)Supportive school environments across West YorkshireApply today to help SEN pupils with language barriers access education and reach their potential.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
