We are looking for a Qualified Accountant to join our Rural team, bringing a fresh perspective and expertise to our diverse client portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong interest in the rural and agricultural sector, who can contribute to our commitment to build strong client relationships and deliver an outstanding client experience.As a Qualified Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns ensuring compliance with all regulations while providing valuable insights to our clients.Your proactive approach to problem-solving and your excellent communication will play a vital role in working with colleagues and clients. At Old Mill, we believe in fostering a positive, collaborative environment where you can thrive both personally and professionally.RequirementsTo be successful in this role you should have experience of working in a practice environment with experience in preparing accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You should have a good understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as knowledge of relevant tax regulations.You’ll be working towards or already hold your AAT Level 4 qualification, ideally in the latter stages of your studies, and have experience or a strong interest in the rural and agricultural sector.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will be working with complex data using relevant software tools and systems. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently is also important.Excellent communication skills are key, as you will be working closely with clients and colleagues.
