- Liaise with store personnel and internal teams to fulfil purchasing requirements across operational areas.
- Monitor and manage pricing agreements with key suppliers.
- Support stores in maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Develop and improve stocking and inventory processes to align with operational needs.
- Ensure pricing accuracy across all purchase orders, with particular focus during month-end.
- Investigate and resolve pricing or delivery discrepancies.
- Produce procurement reports as required.
- Assist in implementing and optimising procurement software and tools.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues where necessary.
- Source new suppliers and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- 2 years' experience as a buyer
- Experience sourcing new suppliers
- Strong ERP and Excel knowledge
- Effective communicator who enjoys collaborative working environments
