Pay: £20 - £30 per hourAbout the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEMH Tutor to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, including anxiety, low confidence, and Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA). This role involves working with both primary and secondary level students, so a range of experience is highly beneficial.Key Responsibilities:Assess individual student needs and develop tailored schemes of workPlan and deliver personalised tutoring sessions focused on SEMH supportBuild positive relationships to foster student confidence and emotional well-beingAdapt teaching strategies to suit varying student requirements and learning stylesMonitor progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardiansWhat We’re Looking For:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a minimum of 3 years’ tutoring experienceProven experience supporting students with SEMH needs, including anxiety, low confidence, and EBSAAbility to work with students across both primary and secondary education levelsStrong assessment, planning, and delivery skills for tailored educational programmesEmpathy, patience, and excellent communication skillsBenefits:Competitive hourly pay of £20-£30Access to the TP-tutors CPD Academy for continuous professional developmentSupportive and flexible working environmentIf you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with SEMH needs and meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you!
