Start Date: September 2025Teaching Personnel are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a local primary school in Andover (SP10) this September.About the role:
In this role you will support the class teacher to ensure that all pupils can access learning and make progress. Key tasks include:Supporting pupils during lessons and small group interventionsAssisting with reading practice, maths activities, and topic workHelping children who have additional learning needsPreparing and setting up classroom materialsEncouraging pupils to be confident, independent learnersHelping to maintain a safe and positive learning environmentWhat we’re looking for:Experience working with children in a school or childcare settingGood communication skills and a friendly mannerPatience, resilience, and a willingness to learnAn Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)This is a rewarding role where you can directly influence pupils’ learning and confidence.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
