Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support & General Classroom Assistance)
Location: Cambridgeshire – Travel required across multiple schools within the borough

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently with pupils who require additional support and will play a key role in helping them achieve their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide consistent 1:1 support to pupils with SEN, tailored to their individual learning and emotional needsAssist the classroom teacher in delivering differentiated lessons and managing classroom behaviourPromote pupils' independence, confidence, and engagement in learning activitiesSupport academic areas including literacy, numeracy, and other key curriculum subjectsTrack progress and provide regular feedback to the class teacher and SENCOFoster a supportive, inclusive learning environment for all pupilsAssist with day-to-day classroom duties and support other pupils where requiredEssential Requirements:Previous experience providing 1:1 support to pupils with SEN (essential)A genuine passion for supporting children with diverse educational needsPatience, empathy, and a nurturing attitudeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamA relevant qualification in education or childcare (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) is desirableAn Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Willingness to travel between schools within CambridgeshireWhat We Offer:A personal recruitment consultant to guide and support youAccess to the Teaching Personnel App – manage your diary, view bookings, and update availabilityA wide range of CPD and training courses, including free safeguarding and SEN modulesOpportunities for temporary roles to transition into permanent positionsCompetitive pay rates (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay)Ready to Apply?

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
