We are looking for an experienced Senior Expert with strong domain knowledge in dairy production processes and deep expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP). This role will play a key part in conceptualizing and implementing a global Dairy Planning solution, focusing on end-to-end value chain planning and best-practice execution in push production environments.
The expert will serve as an interface between business and IT, supporting the implementation of SAP IBP and related modules, while embedding critical dairy-specific process knowledge into the solution.Responsibilities
Design and oversee the implementation of a global Dairy Planning solution using:
SAP IBP (Demand, S&OP, OBP)
SAP PP/DS (Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling)
Actively support the evolution and integration of the SAP Dairy Industry Solution (e.g., MSG, SAP BTP components)
Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to ensure process requirements are accurately captured and implemented
Develop and maintain contingency plans ("Plan B") to ensure business continuity in case of project go-live delays
Ensure end-to-end integration of dairy-specific processes, including:
Milk collection and delivery
Quality control (e.g., fat/protein levels, bacterial count, temperature)
Farmer settlement and payment processes
Identify and align on standard functionality enhancements, ensuring consistency with industry best practices
Serve as an advisor and process owner for push production models, ensuring operational alignment with IT solutionsRequired Qualifications
Several years of experience in dairy operations, production planning, or similar food industry environments
Proven expertise in push production processes and related planning challengesStrong hands-on knowledge of:
SAP IBP (Demand Planning, S&OP, Order-Based Planning)
SAP PP/DS (on S/4HANA or integrated landscape)
Demonstrated ability to oversee and design complex global planning processesSolid understanding of dairy-specific operations including:
Milk collection logistics
Product quality management
Settlement processes with farmers or suppliers
Strong conceptual and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate real-world operations into system configurations
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to bridge gaps between business and IT
