As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that encourage students to explore the world of technology, coding, and digital literacy.Responsibilities as a Computer Science Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Introduce students to coding, programming languages, and the principles of computer systems.
  • Create an engaging classroom environment that stimulates interest in technology.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
Requirements for Computer Science Teacher:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Computer Science.
  • Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and digital technologies.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
