Executive Special Situations M&AWe are searching for an experienced Executive Special Situations M&AAbout the roleRSM Corporate Finance is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Executive to work across our Special Situations team (M&A, Debt Advisory and Turnaround teams).The secondment would predominantly be focused on Special Situations M&A and suit candidates within Corporate Finance who are seeking a fresh challenge and an opportunity to broaden their expertise within consulting.   • Assist in preparing high-quality marketing materials, including IMs and teasers, to support Special Situation transactions
  • Analyse operational performance and profitability to develop actionable reports and recommendations for underperforming businesses
  • Work closely with senior personnel and other stakeholders, ensure effective communication throughout engagements
  • Project managing the delivery of engagements and reports to a high standard
  • Assisting in the preparation of pitch documents and materials
  • Review of client take on and acceptance materials
  • Although cases are led by the partners in the team, the role will involve direct interaction with client personnel, including at a senior level, and their advisors.
About the ideal candidateThe role well-suited for candidates with experience in Corporate Finance, M&A advisory, Due Diligence, or Restructuring. It may also appeal to professionals with consulting experience looking to develop expertise across special situations, debt financing, and turnaround projects.We are seeking a self-motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication and report-writing skills.   • Excellent report writing / drafting and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to review data for completeness and accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Studying for an ACA qualification or whom has obtained an ACA qualification

  • A background in either M&A / transactions / due diligence, Restructuring, Debt Advisory
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities
