- Hours: 07:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday. (60 minute unpaid lunch)

- Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues with vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and computerized components.
- Repair and replace faulty parts, such as brakes, suspension components, exhaust systems, and cooling systems, using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements, to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications when performing repairs and maintenance to ensure safety and compliance.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot complex electronic and computerized systems, including ABS, airbag, and traction control systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, and service bays, to promote efficiency and safety.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues, repair options, and estimated costs, providing excellent customer service.
- Stay updated on advancements in automotive technology and industry trends through training programs and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Experience working on a wide range of vehicles, covering servicing, diagnostics, fault finding and general repairs.
- Possess a wide range of basic / essential tools (all securely stored and insured).
- A problem solving, can-do attitude - and the confidence to ask for a 2nd opinion, if needed.
- An in-depth practical mechanical knowledge.
- MOT certificate desirable.
- Valid manual, clean UK Driving Licence.
- Undertake vehicle road testing and reporting.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a workshop environment.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
