PPA Cover TeacherLocation: TamesideJob Type: PPA Cover TeacherSalary: £130-160 per dayStart date: November onwardsTeaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher to work alongside our welcoming primary schools in Tameside. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to gain a wide range of classroom experience across different year groups, with lots of potential to join one of our schools on a long-term basis. Schools are looking to utilise temporary staff in different capacities and PPA cover across the Tameside area was required frequently last academic year.Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 to provide Planning, Preparation, and Assessment cover.
  • Adapt to a variety of classes and subjects, ensuring lessons are engaging, inclusive, and appropriately differentiated.
  • Work closely with class teachers and support staff to maintain continuity and consistency in children’s learning.
  • Contribute to the positive ethos of school communities and uphold high standards of behaviour and achievement.
What are we looking for?The ideal educator would need to hold qualified teacher status (QTS required) and have an adaptable and proactive approach to teaching. This teacher will need to be able to build positive relationships with children and staff and is passionate about helping all pupils achieve their full potential. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
