
Metallurgical Engineer

- Resolving design and manufacturing issues to ensure product quality and readiness.
- Implementing and improving testing, development, and validation processes.
- Participating in the adoption of new technologies and processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
- Providing technical guidance and insights to various teams and departments.
- Identifying and addressing metallurgical and manufacturing defects.
- A degree in Materials Science/Metallurgy or extensive practical working experience in a materials laboratory.
- Experience with metallurgical/materials evaluation of new products.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Experience in providing technical guidance on product and process maintenance.
- Ability to identify metallurgical/materials manufacturing defects and recommend process improvements.
- Experience of working in an ISO17025 accredited laboratory
- This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Competitive pay rates of £25.30 - £27.30 per hour.
