- Supervise lessons across a range of subjects when teachers are absent, using provided work and resources.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, ensuring students stay on task.
- Provide additional support during lessons, intervention sessions, or exam periods.
- Gain experience across multiple schools or in longer-term placements, depending on your preference.
- A degree in any subject (2:2 or above preferred).
- Experience working with young people (e.g., mentoring, tutoring, youth groups, coaching).
- Strong communication, organisation, and classroom presence.
- A proactive attitude and a genuine interest in education.
- Step into teaching: Ideal preparation for PGCE, SCITT, or school-based teacher training routes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
