Teaching Assistant – KS1 (SEN Support)

Competitive daily rate, dependent on experienceAre you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting young children with Special Educational Needs? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bolton is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team and provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs.About the Role:You will:Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored supportAssist children in accessing the curriculum and developing key social, emotional, and learning skillsAdapt learning materials and activities to meet individual needsFoster a nurturing and inclusive learning environmentSupport with EHCP targets and contribute to progress reviewsAbout You:Experience working with SEN children (in a school or similar setting) is essentialA patient, flexible, and empathetic approachExcellent communication and teamwork skillsA relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Certificate) is desirableEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)What We Offer:A supportive and friendly school communityOngoing CPD and training opportunitiesThe chance to make a real difference in children’s livesAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
