Location: BasingstokeJoin our dynamic team in Basingstoke as a Driver Development Officer, where you'll spend 75% of your time on the road making deliveries and 25% in the office enhancing the skills and performance of our drivers. A valid HGV Class 2 license is essential for this rewarding role!✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
  • Conducting on-the-road deliveries to ensure timely and efficient service while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Developing and implementing training programs for drivers to enhance their skills, performance, and compliance with company standards.
  • Monitoring driver performance through assessments and providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Assist nearby DHL out bases in Exeter, Hatfield and Allington when required.
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
  • Valid HGV Class 2 license with a clean driving record and proven driving experience.
  • Previous experience in driver training, development, or a related role within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate drivers.
