A wonderful chance to become part of a friendly, vibrant family in North Warnborough, with a caring and positive atmosphere.Job Summary:This warm and welcoming family is looking for a dedicated and friendly live-in nanny housekeeper to help maintain a clean and organized home. The ideal candidate should be experienced with young children and have a good command of English. The role involves supporting the family with general housekeeping duties such as laundry (including ironing), maintaining the children's bedrooms, and batch cooking simple meals like lasagna and Bolognese. The family has an 18-month-old in nursery and a daughter starting school in September. The nanny will handle school drop-offs and pick-ups (including at 7:30 AM three times a week), arrange playdates, and provide occasional weekend childcare. The candidate must be a competent driver, and a car will be provided for use.This is a full-time position, working five days a week with two days off, offering flexibility where needed. The nanny will work in the home during school hours and help with childcare outside of those times. The family often travels to Portugal, and they would love someone comfortable joining them on these trips. Accommodation is provided in a separate annex with a private entrance, kitchen, and bathroom. The household includes a small very friendly dog (Staffie), and the family is open to the nanny bringing a pet. They are expecting a new baby next year, so experience with infants is a bonus.   • General housekeeping and nanny tasks
  • Daily cleaning, tidying, hoovering and dusting
  • Family laundry and ironing
  • Changing bedding and keeping bedrooms clean and organized
  • Grocery shopping and kitchen stock management
  • Keeping communal areas and children's spaces neat and well-maintained
  • Help with morning routines and school runs
  • Arranging and attending playdates, activities, and outings
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proficient in English
  • Proactive, approachable, and engaging
  • Strong childcare experience, especially with school aged children
  • Housekeeping experience with a good eye for detail
  • Confident and enjoys home style cooking and meal planning
  • Pet friendly - comfortable being around dogs (small dogs)
  • A true team player with a “muck-in” attitude
  • Driver needed.
