- Support the Senior Officer in managing the team, including prioritising, allocating, and delegating tasks.
- Supervise staff (up to Grade D), ensuring adherence to Council policies and performance standards.
- Oversee timely and accurate financial transactions and monitor debt accruals.
- Maintain budget records and prepare financial reports.
- Represent the team in internal and external meetings.
- Experience supervising and supporting staff.
- Experience delivering customer-focused services.
- Experience working in partnership with various stakeholders and agencies.
- Relevant academic or professional qualification or equivalent skills/experience.
- Proven track record managing financial records (manual and electronic).
- Skilled in preparing budget reports and statistics.
- Competency in IT systems, including contribution to their development.
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
