Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pmWhat You’ll Be DoingWe are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join the Adult Learning Disability Team in Argyll and Bute. You will contribute to the community care function of the service by undertaking assessments, care planning, monitoring, and reviews for adults with learning disabilities.Key responsibilities include:Undertaking and coordinating assessments using Personal Outcome Planning tools in partnership with service users, carers, and other professionalsDeveloping and managing care packages tailored to individual needsLiaising with Community Care Managers and service providers to ensure effective service deliveryMaintaining accurate records using the department’s Eclipse systemParticipating in supervision, training, and the out-of-hours rota where requiredSupporting the team manager in delivering high-quality, cost-effective servicesRequirements & QualificationsTo be considered, you must have:A recognised Social Work qualification (DipSW, CQSW, Degree, or Postgraduate in Social Work)Current registration with the SSSCExperience in care management and assessments for adults with learning disabilitiesStrong working knowledge of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and make informed decisionsWillingness to travel across Argyll and Bute as requiredDesirable:Knowledge of local services for adults with disabilitiesExperience working within integrated health and social care teams
