£38k - £45kVickerstock are currently working in partnership with one of Northern Irelands fastest growing companies to assist them with the recruitment of a Manufacturing Supervisor for one of their sites in Co. Down.As the Manufacturing Supervisor you will lead, oversee day to day operations within the department while ensuring H&S regulations are followed.Your key responsibilities as a Manufacturing Supervisor;
- Ensure that assembled products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and materials, and liaise with procurement or stores to ensure adequate supply.
- Train new staff and conduct regular refresher training for existing team members.
- Work with engineering and quality control teams to resolve any production or technical issues.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics such as output, efficiency, downtime, and rework rates.
- Lead daily briefings and participate in continuous improvement (e.g. 5S, Lean, Kaizen) initiatives.
- GCSE English and Maths are essential
- Highly competent in training others to meet operation standards
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
