Maths TeacherFull Time / TemporaryGosportTeaching personnel are currently working closely with a supportive secondary school who are recruiting for a brilliant Maths teacher to join their staffing team.The desired applicant will be enthusiastic, driven and have a passion for teaching. They will be familiar with preparing and delivering engaging lessons and helping to improve attainment. They will also be confident in working with a mix of abilities and adapting their teaching style accordingly.You will be responsible for delivering Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4, marking will be expected as part of the commitment to this role.Teaching Personnel have an outstanding reputation for training and developing colleagues. Therefore, applications are welcome from ECTs as well as experienced teachers.What are we looking for?

Confidence, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching
Capable of planning for students from a variety of backgrounds and abilities, and inspiring them to reach their full potential
A knowledge and understanding of a range of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies and know how to use and adapt them to motivate students
A track record of positive impact upon student outcomes
Excellent subject knowledge
Commitment to sharing best practice with colleagues in the department.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The successful candidate will have:

Experience of delivering Maths GCSE
Suitable school-based references
Have and up to date DBS with the Update Service/be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS
A willingness to undertake CPD and contribute to the wider school life
Be educated to degree level
Hold QTS (or an equivalent qualification)
