- Implementation of the UKI Data Enablement policy, standards and best practices across UK&I
- Providing professional DE advice and support to the Flutter UKI Division as a proactive and approachable authority
- Leading day-to-day activities of the Flutter UKI Data Enablement Office, in its role as a second line of defence office as part of the Risk & Legal division within Flutter UKI. This includes management of the Office’s technology/tooling and day-to-day operational activities.
- Driving a culture of ownership and accountability through the management of the network of accountable Data and System Owners, and their Data Stewards, across the business
- Support the Data, System Owners and Data Stewards in the proactive identification and resolution of data risks
- Conducting ongoing assurance, through metrics and measurement, on policy and standards implementation, particularly in the areas of data quality, data lineage and traceability, and organisation of data through metadata management
- Collaborating with Data and System Owners, and with our data technology and enterprise architecture teams, to develop and enhance high-quality standards and controls that aid Data Enablement, such as metadata management, cataloguing, lineage, discoverability, and data quality measurement and monitoring
- Supervise the development and delivery of training and awareness on data/AI literacy programs across the business, working with internal partners to tailor delivery to maximise understanding across all audience groups
- Leading data Enablement committees and working groups, and representing the DE Office in cross departmental committees and/or forums
- Experience working in Data Enablement type roles
- Consistent track record of leading and delivering data Enablement programs and frameworks within in a similar type of business and challenging commercial environment
- Deep, practical domain expertise in the areas of data quality, metadata and master data management, data cataloguing and data lineage
- Proven, solid understanding and experience working with data-specific legal and industry- standard frameworks in the areas of data protection and privacy, information and cyber security, artificial intelligence (AI), and technology, in particular the integration of these areas with data Enablement frameworks
- Hands-on experience leading business-wide collaboration and alignment, through direct and forum led relationship management with domain experts and senior leadership
- Understanding of data Enablement frameworks (DAMA, DCAM), methodologies, processes and how to implement them
