The ideal candidate will possess exceptional expertise in the physics and technology of semiconductor materials and magnetic field sensor devices, including Hall sensors. You will have extensive hands-on experience in the microfabrication of magnetic field sensors and their electrical and structural characterisation using advanced techniques such as TEM, SEM, classical and quantum Hall effect measurements, and C-V and I-V characterization down to mK temperature.You will be an outstanding communicator, capable of collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary research team while also demonstrating the independence to drive your projects forward. Strong planning and time management skills are essential, enabling you to define clear milestones, establish realistic timelines, and ensure timely and efficient project execution.Your responsibilities will include taking a leading role in the design, microfabrication, and routine characterization of magnetic field sensor devices, as well as driving their research and development. Additionally, you will contribute to the strategic direction of the group, report your findings to colleagues and collaborators, and disseminate your work through high-impact journal publications and conference presentations.
